Music teacher, Ms. Polina Mann, has won a grant for $2,000 from the Toshiba America Foundation to bring audio recording equipment to Saint Paul School! As part of the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) projects, Toshiba America Foundation seeks to give funding to innovative, experiential learning designed by teachers to improve instruction in K-12 Classrooms.
As part of this grant, SPS K-8 students will work on projects such as audio recording, and podcasting. In this way, the music program can evolve to include a high tech component that allows students to produce recording projects, and learn about digital sound production!
