Each year middle school students have the opportunity to prepare a mock legal case and compete with students from other schools. It's a great way for them to learn how to ask questions, build an argument using evidence, and learn how to think on their feet. Not to mention, it also hones their acting and public speaking skills. The scripts for mock trial are based on actual criminal and civil cases, so students read affidavits and examine evidence. Then they spend months creating questions and practicing making their arguments.
Mrs. Bolard and Miss Thibdeau coach the students once a week after school in October until Feb/March. Where else can your child go through law school in five months for free and have a great time in the process?
All middle school students are welcome to join our Mock Trial program. No previous experience practicing law is necessary. Mock Trillions Rule the Law!
