Welcome Back to School!
I hope you all are as excited as I am to start the new school year! Books have arrived and our classroom is set, ready to be filled with students!
As we approach the start of the year, here are a few important reminders:- Meet and Greet is Tuesday, August 25th, from 3:30pm-6:00pm. You will have the opportunity to meet me, visit the classroom, drop off any purchased school supplies, and learn more about fifth grade. You will also have a chance to visit any specials teachers or student support services.
- First day of school is Thursday, August 25th. This is a half day with dismissal at 12:30pm. Summer packets are due on the first day of school (if your student is done sooner, you are more than welcome to bring it to meet and greet). Any late packets or projects will have points deducted.
- Friday, August 26th, is also a half day.
I appreciate everyones commitment to making this school year as successful as possible!

5th Grade Summer Packet
Students entering the 5th grade for the 2026-2027 school year should complete all reading and math work below. Please attach any extra work (such as scratch paper for math or extra reading logs) to the packet your child turns in. All packets and the finished reading poster are asked to be brought in the first day of school, August 27th. Thank you!
*Update* In addition to the supply list below/your 1st Day School Supplies order, please purchase a set of plastic binder dividers for your student as well as a pack of 200 index cards. These will be used to work on organizational and study skills. I appreciate all you to help set up your learner for success!
